As usual, I think that

 in the short and medium term, tagging should be done with great
 consideration for existing renderers (routers!)

 in the long term we need to expect renderers to catch up to conensus

 while it's great that we have this free-form tagging, we need to be
 careful not to use it where reasonable renderers (routers) will do the
 wrong thing because their global code doesn't know about what a few
 people are doing that isn't yet consensus


So I think you should absolutely have the oneway section, even if you
also add another tag.  Unless of course there is evidence that the large
majority of routers would do the right thing.  There are a huge number,
but I'd say it's ok if of all the routers on osm.org, osmand, organic
maps, N-1 are ok and 1 fails.  (Or N ok and 0 fail.)
