I'd then ask what the criteria for deciding to add (or not) a link





I create very few, mainly at the end of a path (e.g. a sidewalk that ends, forcing pedestrians to continue walking on the side of the road)
and
when there is a T-junction with a clear or even inevitable link between the two objects for certain modes of transport, typically in the case of the initial message.
