[Taginfo-dev] State of taginfo

Hi!

As you saw from all the commit messages I have worked quite a lot on taginfo
recently. I have now done most of the stuff on my "do this soon" todo list
and things will probably quiet down a bit. If you haven't switched to the
new version, now would be a good time.

I'd also welcome it if somebody wants to test taginfo. I have changed so many
different things in the last weeks that I have probably broken a few things
somewhere.

I have added the configuration options tagstats.cxxflags and
tagstats.geodistribution that are pulled in by the tagstats Makefile. That
should make it easier to compile tagstats, because you don't have to change
the Makefile any more for those things.

You can also set sources.db.tagstats to the path where your tagstats executable
is and this will then be used by the update script.

These additions should make it quite easy to compile and run tagstats/taginfo.
Please tell me (or send patches) if you need any other things to be configurable.
