My gps (a TomTom) has a Sirf-III and I'm very happy with the accuracy I am
getting out of it (technically the consistency, accuracy is harder to
measure),
The only place that I don't get +/- about 4 metres is in the middle of
Sydney
and it rarely gets totally confused there (My old StreetPilot-III was
useless anywhere
near tall buildings)
