[talk-au] Potlatch and unconnected roads

Maybe I don't understand the problem correctly but wouldn't the
Validator plugin for JOSM detect the crossovers that are unconnected
pretty easily? I can't think of any existing method to detect ways
that are unconnected but VERY close to each other although they MAY be
detected as "Similar named Ways" by the validator plugin (if they have
the same street name)?
