[talk-au] Highway Tags

Hi All,

I would like someone to clear up an issue I have with my tagging of
highways.
Reading the WiKi Definitions of what is a trunk and primary etc is confusing
me a bit. Yes I can clearly see that the Pacific and New England highways
are trunk but too me the roads say from Glen Innes to Inverell would be
tagged as primary??? Looking at wikipeadia there is a page re Auslink
National Network
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Highway_%28Australia%29
To me these routes would be tagged trunk which would show up as green on OSM
similar to the map in the wikipeadia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:NationalHighways.png and the rest would
be primary. (just talking about country roads).

It would be good if we had an area that was completed with the different
types of roads that we could use as a reference.
