[talk-au] Osmarender

lowzoom doesn't do an upload, it just copies the generated tiles into your tilesathome tmp directory, so after it finishes running, go back to your tilesaathome dir and run perl tilesgen.pl upload.

This version of lowzoom works basically by downloading every level 12 tile in the (4096 of them), then stiching them together and reducing them using image magick.

The new experimental lowzoom is supposed to work on levels 8-11 using stylesheets on actual data downloaded from the db using osmxapi. The idea being to generate proper sized maps, rather thanthe miniature versions that the current lowzoom produces. I haven't been able to get this to work yet though.

I am working on rendering the Western border of NSW at the moment, plus the highway from Adelaide to Melbourne.

Cheers,
Brent.
