[talk-au] New to mapping

Hi Jeff,

Welcome aboard.  I thought I better say something so you don't feel like 
this list is deserted except for a few bits of tumbleweed rolling past 
... perhaps school holidays mean people are out mapping.

I'm from Victoria so don't have many helpful suggestions or knowledge of 
mapping efforts in your area.  Are you familiar with the various 
Australian and state wiki pages?
