I thought the entire length of the pacific highway was NH1, but it seems the federal government doesn't cough up for funding so it's NR1 for large sections if not all of it (according to wikipedia).

Does anyone know how accurate this is?

Also there is conflicting information between wikipedia and ozroads site, wikipedia claims the M1 designation finishes in northern NSW, where as ozroads claims it changes at the border...
