Sounds as good as anything, or maybe aeroway=model_aerodrome ?

Even though you tag it as sport=equestrian you can still add other tags to distinguish. Although looking at tagwatch nothing obvious jumps out at me.

It's not exactly a case of right or wrong, but being consistent...

I couldn't see anything matching this in tagwatch.
