If Frederick Ramm hadn't started out with a please vote email on osmf-talk, 
I'd have missed it too.
Disorganised.

1. nominations open.
2. voting opens
3. nominations close (how can anyone vote if nominations aren't closed)
4. last minute registrations to vote
5. last minute call to vote (24 hours notice)
