There has been a couple of bugs in some versions, but on the whole I
rarely have an issue.

I've been importing postcodes, others have been using it to import
roads in Canada.

What version of Java did you use and did you give it more than the
default 256M of ram? I tend to give it 1-2G especially when using lots
of image layers that chew up memory.

Flash is much much slower for me.
