If you have aerial imagery this might be possible because you could
draw the buildings out etc, otherwise you are looking at 10+ metres
out at least.

You are assuming the only use is for rendering, have you seen osmfuel.org ?

While they specifically care about pricing it doesn't mean someone
else won't make a search engine to let you find all fuel locations
within 20km that have eftpos for example
