As far as I'm aware no, simply because as you pointed out 70cm in 10
years is less than the 3-5m accuracy offered by consumer grade GPS
kit, also yahoo imagery is out in place up to 20+ metres, so the drift
of the Australian continent is a minor source of error.

Is it possible to have a method to easily switch between WGS84 and GDA94?

For all intents and purposes I'm pretty sure most consumers will only
care about WGS84, since that's what their tom toms and garmins and
unidens will default to, maybe this is a potential business model for
you, WGS84 for free and GDA94 for $$$ that way extra work is covered
and so on.
