I'm curious as to why yahoo sat images can be used and google ones can't?

I'm aware of the copyright issues, in fact it's due to those issues that I'm spending considerable time/effort supporting OSM.

After doing a run to capture GPS information I now have a much better idea software wise of what to code for my phone to make it more useful for OSM.
