I just received an message from Brentyn about roads appearing in the
Toowoomba area, they haven't been tagged as to the source but he think
they're derived from DCDB Qld data.
I've been contemplating about how to tag a non-existent road, to
prevent people from reimporting it, or trying to survey roads that
don't exist.
This comes back to this topic:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines#What_happens_if_another_map_says_a_road_exists_but_isn.27t_really_there.3F
A road exists on paper, but doesn't in real life and having a blank
area makes it hard to determine if a survey has found nothing or it
simply hasn't been surveyed at all.
At least with the DCDB data we can trace over it, the only question
then is how to tag it, I can't think of anything concise that I didn't
already outline on the wiki from before.
