[talk-au] Tagging stormwater drain areas?

Hi,

I'm wondering how other people tags things like:

These are large open pits where storm water runoff from properties and  
roads is drained to.

The best I can come up with is tagging a closed way with  
waterway=drain;area=yes.

Usually these things are next to or within parks, so I've just been  
drawing the park around them and ignoring them, but I'm wondering if I  
should be tagging them separately.

What are other people doing? If anything?
