It's a "waste of money" when the government cries about how poor it is and cuts funding to public transport, education and hospitals, and fails to repair neglected roads, but can then magically pluck $20 million from thin air.

I agree the alphanumeric system makes sense, but it's hypocritical of the government given everything they've said for the past 18 months.

BTW - Why is the Hume Highway being labelled A22. Isn't it Highway 31?
