There was mention late last year of setting up a local Chapter

but haven't heard anything further since?

Just been doing some random browsing & found this
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Foundation/Local_Chapters/Australia,
which discussed the same thing back in 2010.

Is any of that info still relevant?
