Is it really that important to know what type the road is in the
official records? Most of the time it's pretty darn obvious, and a bit
of common sense will help you get the right OSM highway type.

That's what I did with the N436 and N458: secondary. It works out ok, if
you take the importance of those in accordance, and it looks good in a map.

An example of a change I'm going to make soon is the part of R4 that
goes through Zelzate. That's comprised of all kinds of 90/70/50 km/h
segments, goes 1-lane to 2-lane and back a few times, and even to
single-carriageway where it crosses the canal. I really want to just
downgrade those parts from trunk to primary.

Although I kept the N436 as secondary, even where it goes right through
the center of Assenede, it could also just as well turn tertiary there.
But then it looks less logical on the map. Different solutions for
different situations.
