My IPAQ is detected on Windows Vista with help of a USB cable. I can
also send files to my K750i phone, which has a memory card. I'll bring a
card reader along.

The ADAPT AD-850 can be read out with a proprietary application by means
of Bluetooth. Maybe I'll have to bring my laptop after all...

When walking on the boardwalk (voetpaden) the information is accurate
enough. Except when walking between high rise buildings. But there are
no such buildings in Mechelen as far as I know. No need to risk our
lives walking in the middle of the streets.

Usually more than one GPS track is used (uitgemiddeld) to get good
accuracy. For Mechelen we have Yahoo! pictures, so now the work consists
mostly in checking whether I have been tracing the aerial imagery
correctly and taking note of street names, zone 30, type of street
(residential/minor/pedestrian...), phone boots, mail boxes, bus stops, etc.
