[OSM-talk-be] about my proposal to stichting NLnet and how to proceed

I propose for someone to open a bank account for OSM BE as a
"feitelijke vereniging/association de fait". No fuss, and makes
handling money so much easier.

We would need:
* a mission statement. We need this for many more reasons than just a
bank account. I propose to have the general openstreetmap + "within
Belgium"+ "in close cooperation with the international OSM community,
especially neighbouring countries".
* a bank where to open it. I propose keytrade bank. Free, we've had
very good experiences there with ubuntu-be.org.
* at least two people to co-administer our funds. You don't want one
of them to slack off, or worse, to run with the money ;). They need to
be endorsed as treasurers. Messages to this list will do. See

We would probably want:
* public accounting to the extent possible. Again, see

OK. Which makes things easy: we tack on a request carried by OSM BE to
the OSM NL request.

I wouldn't mind looking after our bank account together with someone else IF
* I get unanimous support to do so
* someone else takes joint responsibility
* we have public accounting

I mean ten copies of a durable, high precision, high battery life
model, free software friendly, no screen, newbie proof. Obviously
something to be discussed on this list.

Practical experience tells me that asking for money for these things
is not a good idea, especially not for a young group as ours.
