[OSM-talk-be] a datalogger

Hi,
I would also like to borrow an OSM-be data logger. I have an IPAQ with
inbuilt GPS, but that's not always suitable or practical. I also
purchased a data logger as a backup, but it's already malfunctioning
again. I'm not very pleased with it after all. At first I couldn't read
out the logs and now it is not possible to communicate with it anymore.
It already went in for repair for the first problem and I only was able
to use it for two tracks in between.
Anyway, I do quite a bit of work for OSM in the wide region around
Leuven. From now on I'll be going on horseback around Rotselaar, Elewijt
and Budingen and that's where I don't like to take the IPAQ along. I
don't want to risk breaking its screen. That's where a logger is more
interesting to take along.
It would also be interesting to test the device's accuracy. Eventually
I'll probably end up buying a different data logger for myself. I intend
to use the OSM one for about 2 or 3 months. I will bring it along to OSM
mapping parties for somebody else to use, of course, and I don't intend
to hold on to it when somebody else needs it more urgently than I do.
Kind regards,
Polyglot
