good. THanks for the effort

I have an old 16 MB that is not used anymore that I'll send you.

I would very much like to contribute to OSM with data gathered with a
GPS. I won't buy one now as I am looking to buy a Openmoko forerunner
that should come by the end of the year.

As I'll be away a lot during the comming 2 months, I would like to use
on of these logger to help OSM in Belgium directely.

I live in the south of Brussels (very close to ULB where FOSDEM takes
places) and I am ready to be some kind of local circulating point for
one logger that could be used in Brussels.

I think your proposal makes much sense.

In september, I would like to look again at the data that I manage to
obtain from the Brussels Traffic authorities with all road works and
problems (the same file that is sent weekly to newspapers) to import
the data weekly, *automatically* into a layer that could give such
details. Today the file (that is manually made into a wordprocessor)
is IMHO unusable by a computer program. I have initiated news contacts
to have this format changed but more precise discussions with more
technically qualified people would help.

(I think this effort is interesting as it would give OSM some "quasi
real time" feature and help involve other people by saying "look, on
OSM you can easily get a view of the road works and other problem that
could have an impact on the traffic")

Thanks,
