It really depends on the mapper and the addition of what all the Belgian
mappers do amounts to what 'OSM Belgium' does. I prefer to go slowly but
take in as much detail as feasible. This way, in theory, I only have to
go everywhere once. I don't like to circle blocks though. I like to also
advance through the landscape. So I started mapping cycle routes and
cycle node networks. Of course the fact there is a new such cycle node
network created here in Vlaams-Brabant makes this appealing as well. It
feels a bit like pioneering work and it's fun to be able to say OSM is
going to be the first map that has those cycle nodes.

Of course I sometimes have to revisit places anyway from time to time.
This is the disadvantage of mapping a cycle node network that is not
completely in place yet...

Organizing a party is also work :-) Very useful work, I might say, it
makes us focus our efforts on one specific area, which you can then
enhance afterwards. The hardest part is to set a date, I guess. Too far
in the future and you might forget yourself, like I did :-). Too nearby
and people can't reorganize their agendas anymore.
