[OSM-talk-be] Bus, tram and metro lines

Hi all,
I've spent some time creating this page:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/WikiProject_Belgium/Public_Transport
I think that so far only Polyglot and me have done a bit of work adding
bus and tram lines in Belgium. But of course, we can't check all bus
routes in Belgium, so here's a little request: if you know some bus
routes, or see bus stops along your roads, consider adding some bus
lines to OSM as well :-)
The current tagging rules for the route relations are at
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/WikiProject_Belgium/Conventions/Bus_and_tram_lines
Note that that page could perhaps use some input as well, since we still
need a proper tagging scheme for "belbussen", and night buses. Also
adding bus stops to the relations isn't covered yet.
You may need to make yourself familiar with relations first if you've
never worked with them. Potlatch makes it much easier to work with them
compared to JOSM.
In Potlatch, the magical button is the second one at the bottom right.
Press it when you have a way selected and create a new relation (or
select one if you or someone else has already made it). Add all ways
the bus takes to the relation like that. If there's a part where the
bus only goes into one direction, you can add a "role" to the way. This
role can then be "forward" or "backward" depending on the direction of
the road (forward if the bus follows the same direction as the
direction of the way) and you can add it in the light grey text box
next to the relation name when you have the way selected.
If you run into trouble or if you want to let someone check if you're
doing things correctly, we're here to help you :-)
Greetings
Ben
PS: Polyglot, if you have some time, please put all the bus lines in
Leuven and Vlaams-Brabant on that page :-)
