Hi all,
I remember a question on this mailing list before about creating routes
on OSM - especially for biking.
I noticed the 'image of the week' on the OSM wiki so got on
http://maps.cloudmade.com
You can create shortest/fastest route there on OSM data for car, bike or
walking, start to finish, or with intermediate points.
Also a nice way to check things like one-way streets and so on.
It seems to work relatively fine when I checked some routes here in
Antwerpen.
However on some places it will go wrong, as it will try to put not
allowed turnings in the route.
Examples:
- Frankrijklei, comming from north, turning left onto De Keyserlei is
not allowed.
- Van Ertbornstraat, turning left onto De Keyserlei is not allowed.
As OSM data will get more widely used to do routing, is there any way
how these restrictions can be tagged???
