For who drives to A'dam by car, a good sollution is the Transferium
parking in the Ajax stadium. If you arrive from the direction of Utrecht
or Rotterdam/schiphol it is indicated on the pannels 'transferium'.
Take a parking ticket, and exchange it at the office at ground level.
You get 2 free subway tickets to/from center. When they are stamped for
the return ride in center zone you only pay something like 7 € for the
lot.
It's what we do if we drive by car to A'dam.
Parking in town center is indeed extremely expensive, if you find a
place to park at all. Most parkings often are full.
