My French is not as it should be, so excuse me for posting in English 
instead..

State Of The Map 2009 will be held in Amsterdam on July 10 - 12, in the 
brand new convention centre of the Amsterdam city council, who most 
kindly sponsored us by providing this venue for very little money. Of 
course we, the local organising team, hope for a disproportially large 
Dutch and Belgian crowd! That's why we wanted to give you an early heads 
up on the state of things.

While we are still working on putting together an interesting programme, 
registration is already open. You can now head over to 
http://www.stateofthemap.org/register-now/ and secure your registration 
- for a very limited time only at a discounted early bird rate, so don't 
delay.

About the programme: a message will be posted shortly on international 
talk asking for input on the main themes of SOTM09. We'd love to have 
your input on this, so watch that thread or contact the local team 
directly.
