Currently I have 3 gpses on, PDOPs are pretty normal for all of them
(between 2 and 3). I think the solar wind and it's effect on the
magnetosfere is far more significant to the GPS sattelite reception. By
chance there seems to be some elevated activity expected for tomorrow
because of a that. At higher latitudes, that is (i guess that means 60+N
or even higher)
http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/forecast.html currently says the following:
"IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
expected to be quiet to unsettled with a slight chance for isolated
active periods at high latitudes for days one and two (17-18 April)
due to effects from the CME observed on 13 April. Quiet to
unsettled levels with isolated active periods at high latitudes are
expected for day three (19 April) due to a coronal hole wind stream.
"
I think everything will be just fine tomorrow :)
