Hi Marc,

First welcome here with the openstreetmap group.

I have been reading the postings on your introduction with amusement for
some days now... you must have got frightened by now...

Don't be. Just be warned that every subject here on the mailing list rises a
lot of opinions, sometimes degrades into a discussion about the sex of the
angels, and just be informed that with tagging things you can go far... very
far and very detailed.

BUT, not every entry has to be that detailed, or not at once. So if you can
add missing roads/tracks/paths it is worth doing it, even if the tagging is
incomplete. You or someone else can correct or complete it later at any
time.

For tagging examples, just pick a similar road/track in a well mapped area
in you editor, and have a look how it is done there. It might be most
informative. For tips/tricks examples and explanations a visit to a
gathering of openstreetmap contributers is wise. Keep an eye on the
mailinglist to know where/when.

Greetings from Antwerp.

Luc aka Speedy
