Dear all
Mrs Karine Lalieux, échevin de l'informatique of Brussels City, has
just called me to have more information about the event we could/would
organize for OSM Birthday.
Her first question is : do we really want still to organize it on Aug
20, that is with a very short delay ? Couldn't we propose other dates
to the Brussels authorities to allow them to support us better and
give us access to better locations ?
She would like a short but detailed note to present to the council and
burgemeester/bourgmestre's office with different suggested places
(covered or not; I do have 2 tonnelles under wich we could put 3 to 4
tables to be in an uncovered public space) such as Galerie de la
Reine, Galerie Anspach, place Agora (or place de la Monnaie if the
work would have been finished) (and not Grand Place as nothing is ever
permitted there that is not already "usual" or so exceptionnal as Tour
de France or marathon de Bruxelles !), what we would need
(electricity, wifi, tables, chairs ... - the less the better), the
kind of activity and the duration (I said 1/2 day to 1 day)
Thanks,
Nicolas
