I've also been experimenting with house numbering. It's nicer if they also
get renderd of course. If a building has 1 house number and no name, then it
seems very appropriate to add it to the building. The only problem there is
that they cannot be part of an 'interpolation' anymore then. But that's a
minor issue.

If 1 building has more house numbers, or if 1 building houses several named
entities, it all becomes a lot less straightforward.

I'm also working on Research Park Haasrode lately. There are 2 numbering
schemes being used there, a bit like the 'kaainummers' in the harbour of
Antwerp.

At first I was adding those extra numbers as ref=xxxx, note=Research Park
Haasrode, but I'm not happy with that solution. The only thing it has going
for it, is that all the information stays nicely together.

So now I'm creating the normal house numbers in parallel to the extended
ones:

addr:housenumber=xxxx
addr:street=Research Park Haasrode

Since those numbers are in reference to the entire zone.

So now both numbering schemes are getting rendered, which makes it easier to
spot which ones are already done.

Cheers,

Jo
