Hi,

I just read this (Dutch) article by Peter Dedecker:
http://peterdedecker.eu/blog/vlaanderen-en-belgi%C3%AB-gaan-voor-open-data?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+peterdedecker+%28Peter+Dedecker%29&utm_content=Google+International

In short, he (and other people in front of and behind the scene) have
launched projects to enhance the spreading of Belgian data. Amongst these
projects, there is also a site (http://data.gov.be/) where you can find open
datasets and where you can request new ones.

As a negative side, the data is only available on a "free to use" license,
so even if there comes some nice geographical data available, it can't be
used in OSM. But applications could use that data in combination with OSM.

Greets,
Sander
