No added value for the map, I think, but might be interesting for people
who study history, city growth, and other such disciplines.
Should be easy enough to convert OSM data to shapefiles, either with GIS
tools or through custom scripts. I'm in the middle of a move, but if I can
find some time I'll give it some thought.
Glenn, you say there is no 1:1 map between OSM and CRAB. I'm not familiar
with the CRAB data, so could you share where the problem is, for instance
with using house numbers as Pieter suggests? Maybe working on this project
could lead to an improvement of the synchronization between CRAB and OSM
data?
