Pieter,

> At last, how comes you don't reuse the admin_level=9 if they are the same?

Yes I reuse them!

Initially, as I was busy with an inventory of ancient maps at the State
Archives in Arlon, I was looking for ancient municipalities boundaries as
vectors. Moreover user 'jfonda' asked for postal_code boundaries. I
observed that admin_level=9 could be used for both.

>From the admin_level=9 boundaries I prepared relations for (a) the
municipality cadastral 'divisions' and (b) the postal codes.

But there are a few exceptions:

   1. some postal boundaries do not follow the administrative boundaries
   2. some cadastral 'divisions' do not follow the ancient (= pre 1977)
   municipality boundaries

Did I reply to your question?

Pierre
