Hi,

I'm working on an extension of the current MapComplete theme for
cyclestreets, to also include schoolstreets. Please have a look at my

The general idea with schoolstreets is that we do need a "generic" tag to
be able to find them back.

The draft new MapComplete theme already basically works, except for the
opening hours logic.

A major addition that is still in the pipeline, is to add the traffic signs
from Verkeersborden Vlaanderen. While the data is not up to date
everywhere, preliminary analysis showed that both OSM and Verkeersborden
were incomplete. So there's useful info to be had!
You can find the Verkeersborden Databank on Geopunt; there's also a WFS to
download relatively small amounts of data.
