Well, I know there has been concern expressed re: doing nautical chart
level mapping (i.e.: who is liable if a mega-$$ yacht runs aground due
to bad chart/map data). On the other hand I can see value to the likes
of kayakers in noting stream direction, at least where there is a
consistant stream direction (in some tidal areas water flow directions
can get ... strange).
