... Because the entire trail is not complete.. Its debatable. .. when
saskatchewans trail is complete.. then we can say were the route is.
.. the debate is still on about the Leechtown connection. .. then
people can do the whole galoping goose. .. another option could be to
get out to Port Renfrew from shawnigan lake and back. (the Moterbike
route could go that way).. acording to the backroads mapbook, there is
a connecting hiking trail out there too.
>From Tofino taking the ferry or road to Port Alberni, then there is
some rail bed in that town, and a way to qualicum, and down to
parksville, and connects towards nanaimo.
.. then from Victoria, up to swartz bay to twawassen, so then it can
take the dyke trails to white rock, and through Richmond, and to
steveston, where more dyke trails are, and makes it way to the airport
and to UBC that way.
... the current routing of the TCT misses the whole west coast of
mainland Vancouver!. .. and Sidney, and Tofino. .. a simple addition.
.. for the virtual trail.
- ,, Mile 0 is only for the Highway. .. not the TCT... it shouldnt be.
... its 2 different routes, and people like to get to Cape Spear...
even though its not the TCT... because it's the eastern most point. ..
Tofino is the central most west point. ... with easy acess.
There is already a trail that goes from Tofino to Ucluelet..
(thats also why im keeping these 2 maps separate) :-)
Is there any swaying agreement on my points??
