Hi

I got an reply from the mapper I referred to earlier.

"I have used maps for augmenting my own memory, but i'm sure some places i
have relied on a copyrighted map for the name of a street.  I have become
aware that this is not allowed, and can additionally lead to errors. I have
decided not to read from maps any further.

I'm not exactly sure which streets are sheer map-reading, and which are
not..."

I think we just might have to leave it, though I am worried about copyright
traps.
