Hi all,
I've been uploading more samples of features, 1 or so of each. (making it
easier to replace)

Check out my diary as i put the details there with the links to the exact
changesets.
http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/geobase:acrosscanadatrails/diary

One thing i havent done yet, is "not show the description" field.

II havet got a more detailed response yet, as my arguments for keeping them
is that the wiki shows that the definitions for OSM tags are, when the
CanVec tags shouldn't actually be changed. (Counter to what was said
earlier) There is no reason for anyone to change the pre:done canvec tags.

If there is an error with the canvec tags, then i would need to know about
it, then i can fix the script. However, once more features are placed
down, it will be MUCH hard to chage the canvec tags. Later.

So as it stands now, I have entered in ALL the canvec source references ..
BUT the
"Minimum sizes" fields.
Specification code
Area (Square meter)
Lateral distance (Meter)
Length (Meter)
Longitudinal distance (Meter)
Right angle tolerance (Degree)
Spike angle tolerance (Degree)

I havent yet got any feedback on this, yet. So i havent added them.

I think what my option todo is to be meeting in person with mappers.
So thats what im doing, during the next 2 weeks, i plan on meeting with as
many as possable. Before proceding much further.

cheers,

P.S BTW, the Sample OSM files are continiously being updated, so the ones
that are online ARE outdated. :-)
I'll upload a few for you all too see. (I'll post it on the diary today)
