While where talking about reserve lands,
might want to check this out.
(i havent gone through it myself yet)

Direct from the source is always nicer, which is why i go for a
'conversion script' instead, so only local area mappers, and us (loco)
national mappers :-) would be able to keep up with the pace. :-)

and why i asked for a link to the NRCan source. (it might be the same)

The attribution (as always) needs to be varified.

fyi - the Hul'qumi'num are part of an Aboriginal Mapping Network that
you may wish to review in order to include in your work. And they
source forestry and other maps that can offer addtional info, etc
