Here's the standard method.

Make your dataset available as .osm files.

Make a wiki page and list where these .osm files can be downloaded from.
List all the mappers who are currently working with the datasets.
List tagging methods & notes for others to use as a guide.

Keep the talk-ca list updated on your progress, we want to know :-)

When your dataset becomes more complex, consider making a wms layer
that lists the poi data i.e. Bus stop #.
Consider including the park boundaries in this same wms layer. It will
make it less painfull for the greater community to help. (just as
Toporama is available for CanVec data)

And finally, getting a quick note, by someone 'official' saying that
'this low hanging fruit data, is OK to use in OSM. That should make it
good enough to use.

And finally, map benches/trees & bicycle racks, and have a bus stop
import party!
