Hi,
I don't like to nit-pick, but i will anyway :-)
amenity=place_of_worship is listed with including the 'building=yes' tag.
Heres why, if it was a 'grave_yard' the as it is a given that it is
not a building.
So i think its redundent to have for a node.
Once the building are is known then it could be drawn in.
There is a
And amenity=coast_guard is not in the JOSM presets, so the wiki needs
to be fixed.
It also has the building=yes tag, as a node so for this case, it could be kept.
Is there an objection to removing the building=yes tag from the
amenity=place_of_worship node feature? Otherwise it just gets fixed
if needed.
So ya, the wiki charts that are still duplicated, so with no
volunteers, i'll fix it.
I have added french in the item names and added the descriptions in french also
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/CanVec:_Buildings_and_structures_%28BS%29
I put the old chart on the talk list of the page
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:CanVec:_Buildings_and_structures_%28BS%29
and am still working through it, (about 1/2 way through you can see
the old chart) adding comments with some ideas.
No super big changes, as local are mappers will fix them when
enhancing the area locally with todays 'on the ground' status.
We need to keep the old chart values, as alot of CanVec has now
already been imported into OSM, so the rules.txt files could have
contained these old values and could possibly need to be updated at
some point.
Cheers,
Sam
