Well maybe not out of the window but it felt like it. The nice receptionist
had told me to wait for him to come back and came back from wandering around
and said he bumped into him on the way to another meeting. He might have
walked straight past me, the place isn't big so even if not he could have
popped in to say sorry I have to go. I was then advised to e-mail him to
make an appointment, errr, well my 2nd e-mail was just asking for a
confirmation reply.

I think you might be right. It would have been good if I had managed to get
some more people interested on campus during my time there. Oh well, there
are links on the wiki for the next person getting deep into OSM.
