[Talk-ca] UBC, Vancouver orthography, and street alignment

Just to clarify - are we allowed to use the BC orthophotos now as well? Also
I might stick the converted Vancouver ortho GeoTIFFs on my web hosting
account if they are in demand.

Yahoo is definitely off in the north end of campus, but near Fairview it's
fairly good.

That 100mm orthophoto is pretty good. Not only is it high resolution, but
it's fairly recent. The Marine Drive Commons Block is still under
construction, but the brick pathways have been laid - this puts the photo at
around March/April/May of 2009. It looks like they still have the sprinkler
system piping laid out on the ground, but my memory is hazy on when that was
installed.
