I'm on Shaw Cable (in the Vancouver area), and I get (note for some reason I
have tracepath installed instead of traceroute, but effects should be the
same):
$ tracepath b.tile.openstreetmap.org

$ ping b.tile.openstreetmap.org

None of this adversely affects my OSM viewing though. Note that according to
[http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Slippy_Map#Mapnik_tile_rendering], "If
you get 'More OpenStreetMap coming soon...' on a tile, it means there was no
data for that tile and it is now in the queue to be rendered."
Sometimes if I zoom in really close to an area where nobody has ever zoomed
in before, the tile hasn't been rendered yet and I get the "coming soon"
message. If you are finding areas that are rendered and yet you still get
"coming soon", there could be some other issue at hand.
