As usual, imported PGS data for Richelieu
riverbank around Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is very coarse. Between
Lavaltrie and Contrecoeur, on the Saint-Laurent, I also see islands that are coarsely traced or missing.
Island near Lavaltrie traced with Bing imagery http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/156816906/history
Canvec data seems to be a better solution. Around Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, it corresponds to what I know of the coastline. It also seem to be of good quality for islands on the Saint-Laurent river.
For the Richelieu riverbank around Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, I then plan to retrace itwith Canvec data. Unless there are better solutions.
Also, should I wait until the CT edits be teminated?
Pierre
