Bonjour Steve,
The "semi" street numbering is based on the Karlsruhe schema (1) that is a
standard interpolation mechanism (2) in OSM's Street addressing (3)
1- http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Karlsruhe_schema
2- http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Addresses#Using_interpolation
3- http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:addr
So, I think it worth importing :-)
I'm not familiar with imports using Potlatch but importing it using JOSM is
quite easy - open the file, select the features, copy then in a new layer
and then upload the layer in OSM...

Subject: [Talk-ca] CanVec 10 Data
I have been doing some CanVec 10 imports and noticed in the latest files
that it includes "semi" street numbering - like odd/even block numbers.
An example here:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=18/49.74784/-123.11109
Is this worth importing? If so is there an easy way to import just this via
JOSM? I only use Potlatch currently.
Thanks
Steve
