[Talk-ca] Route reference tagging: time for change?

Hey Jherome,
In the past in Ontario we've reverted changes that added those prefixes.
They're not on the signs that are posted (ex. You don't see RR7 on Highway
7 or "ON QEW") so they don't make sense to add and don't really confer
anything important. Operator information is kept in the relation so of
someone wants roads owned by the province they can extract the relation.
In the US they usually prefix the route numbers or signs with the state or
federal short form so it makes more sense.
My 2 cents anyways. Not sure if others in the province have an opinion or
have changed their minds.
